WCBC Radio at 35 Baltimore Street was hit by a power outage at 11:45 a.m. and knocked off of the air for approximately one hour. According to Potomac Edison, roughly 300 customers at one point were without power, most of them in the downtown mall area. Company crews remain on the scene of the incident, which originated near First Peoples Federal Credit Union. The outage initially saw some traffic lights not operating.
