Protective Orders Filed Against School Bus Driver Prior To Abuse Charges

March 5th, 2017 by WCBC Radio

So far, the Allegany County Public School System has declined to comment on the sexual abuse case involving two young girls and 35 year old Travis Keith Heavner, an independent contractor who drove a school bus in the Flintstone area.

Heavner is being held in lieu of $3,000,000 bond on those charges, and WCBC News has learned, through electronic court records, that Heavner was issued court orders to stay away from unnamed victims on Tuesday of last week.

It is not known if those protective orders are connected to the sexual abuse charges that were the basis of his arrest on Thursday, and we don't know the last day that he drove the school bus.

The protective orders are scheduled to be the subject of a hearing in District Court Tuesday morning.
