February 25th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

WCBC News has learned the Maryland Public Service Commission has canceled a downstate hearing on the Dan's Mountain wind proiject scheduled for March 4th.

We've been advised that, instead, there will be local public hearing held on the application of Dan's Mountain Wind Force.  The date of that hearing has yet to be determined, but is expected to be held during the next month and a half.

We'll have further details as they become available.

The PSC decided to hold the meeting locally because they love it when the fringe groups and other assorted nut cases show up. It makes the meetings much more interesting.

If you are unlike the county commissioners and actually listen to the citizens you’d find that the only fringe group or assorted nut cases are the ones pro-wind farm.

We do indeed live in interesting times.

The PSC is avoiding the area because they don’t want to travel and second, they want to get it done quickly with as little pubic input as possible. That is a shame.

      > No, actually, the PSC is doing US a favor. They decided with the amount of public support from letters and phone calls received, a local meeting would serve our interests better.
