Racially Diverse Police Force A Top Priority Says Official

In February, Governor Larry Hogan Tuesday announced longtime member of the Maryland State Police William Pallozzi as his appointee for superintendent of the department. Just a few months later Baltimore City was rocked by rioting and looting after a young man died while in custody of city police. Those six officers, three black and three white, have been charged with murder. While a city incident, the rioting saw a response from all levels of law enforcement statewide. Commander Pallozzi says that working toward a racially diverse police force is a top priority…
