The American Red Cross has come to a tentative contract agreement with unionized blood drive workers in five states. A unit of the Communications Workers of America’s Local 13,000 withdrew its strike notice after the agreement was reached. The contract affects workers in western Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
