Water line replacement work will begin Monday evening through Tuesday morning on South Centre Street between Harrison and Baltimore streets, according to the Cumberland Engineering Department. Belt Paving Inc. will be handling the construction set to take approximately three weeks Monday through Thursday. Motorists should expect delays.
In addition, the Cumberland Utilities Department will begin repairs to a 24-inch storm drain pipe on Valley Street beginning Monday at 7 a.m. Valley Street will be closed between North Centre Street and Henderson Avenue for several repairs.
