Flacco is owed $18.5 million in 2019, none of which is guaranteed money. Flacco has three years remaining on the contract signed in 2013 and restructured in 2016.
The Ravens drafted Flacco in 2008 No. 18 overall out of Delaware. He's completed 61.7 percent of passes and thrown for 212 touchdowns over 11 seasons with the Ravens. Flacco was remarkably durable for much of his career until suffering a knee injury in 2015. A hip injury this past season led the Ravens to hand the ball to rookie Lamar Jackson. When Flacco recovered, Jackson remained the starter.
It was in Denver where Flacco threw perhaps his most iconic pass, the Mile High Miracle. With 44 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the 2012 AFC divisional playoff game, Flacco heaved a pass 50 yards to Jacoby Jones, who caught it at the 20 yard line and ran in for the score. The Ravens went on to win in the second overtime period and, three weeks later, the Super Bowl. Through that playoff run, Flacco threw 11 touchdowns and no interceptions and went on to win Super Bowl MVP.
