Republican Lawyer Craig Wolf To Challenge Frosh In AG Bid

Republican lawyer Craig Wolf said he's running for attorney general because he believes Brian Frosh focuses more on the goings-on in Washington than in the state he was elected to serve. Wolf has local ties as he is a former Allegany County and federal prosecutor. He says that Frosh has either led or signed onto a number of lawsuits against President Donald Trump and his administration. One lawsuit Frosh filed alongside his Washington, D.C. counterpart accuses the president of taking unconstitutional gifts from foreign interests through his Washington hotel. Wolf says while the General Assembly in 2017 gave Frosh blanket permission to pursue actions against the Trump administration, that doesn’t mean he should make those issues a priority over Maryland matters…
