The Ridgeley mayor and council are opting to reduce meetings to once a month, given the low resident participation twice a month. Starting this month the council will meet on just the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Members noted in removing the second meeting of the month that if issues arise that need attention before the next appointed time, a special meeting can be called.
