A Ridgeley man was killed when his vehicle traveled off Route 46 and struck a tree Sunday night, according to the Mineral County Sheriff's Office. James P. Stair, 56, was fatally injured in the wreck that occurred at approximately 6p.m. Stair was pronounced dead at the scene by Mineral County Medical Examiner Chris Guynn. The investigation is ongoing.
