November 25th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Maryland State Police are investigating the attempted murder of a motorist on westbound Route 50 just west of Nesbit Road in Queen Anne’s County on Saturday, November 23, around 4:30 p.m.

Troopers at the Centreville Barrack received several 911 calls regarding an apparent road rage incident in which a motorist deliberately rammed and attempted to run another vehicle off of the road.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage.  No other property sustained damage.  Trooper Bertrand started towards that location.  Within several minutes another 911 call was taken at the barrack with the victim being the caller.  She advised that her son, Race Nelson Robinson, had deliberately attempted to kill her.  She also advised she believed he may try to kill her with a firearm.

Investigation revealed the suspect intentionally drove his vehicle into the victim's vehicle at highway speeds, attempted to block the victim in, and then fled the area.  The victim was able to avoid striking anything and luckily escaped without sustaining any physical injury.

The suspect was located in Catonsville by Maryland State Police Golden Ring Troopers and Baltimore County PD and taken into custody.  The Queen Anne’s States Attorney was contacted to screen the incident and indicated Attempted 2nd degree murder would be the primary charge. The suspect was returned to Centreville Barrack and processed.
