Road Rage In Cumberland

An alleged road rage incident Monday afternoon on Interstate 68 resulted in the arrest of a Kentucky man and two weapons being recovered, Maryland State Police said Tuesday night. Stephan Darrelle Walker of Radcliffe was arrested without incident after the traffic stop on Interstate 68 eastbound near Maryland Avenue.

Walker allegedly displayed a firearm during a road rage incident on the interstate. His vehicle was stopped by state police troopers, deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland Police officers. The eastbound portion of the interstate was closed for a short period of time.

Police said a .25-caliber pistol and a loaded Taurus .38 Special revolver were recovered. Walker was charged with reckless endangerment and having a handgun in a vehicle.
