Robbery Suspects Sentenced

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, announced Tuesday the sentencing of Cory Joseph Crabtree (21), Cody Jerome Crabtree (24) and Gregory Thomas Laisure (23) to 20 years in the Maryland Department of Corrections with eight years suspended for their involvement in an armed robbery of a woman in the Rawlings area on December 11th, 2011.  Upon their release the defendants will be placed on five (5) years supervised probation.  Two other co-defendants, Zachary Huffman and Melvin Howell have court appearances in the near future for their alleged involvement in the robbery.

The case was prosecuted by Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney.  Cory Crabtree was represented by Paul J. Notarianni, Cody Crabtree was represented by David Hare and Gregory Laisure was represented by Kelly Clark.  The Honorable Timothy Finan presided over the sentencing.
