MDOT State Highway Administration crews and contractors responded to westbound at Interstate 68 at Haystack Mountain around noon Friday for a mud and rock slide.
Spokesman Charlie Gischlar tells WCBC News that workers were on the scene until 5:20 PM. The slide is in an area which received attention late in 2018.
The right lane of traffic was blocked during rush hour, creating some delays for vehicles going west on the interstate.
