While early revenues at the Rocky Gap Casino Resort were lower than expected, things have been steadily improving during the summer months. A statement released last month show Lakes Entertainment’s second quarter financial results- and revenue is on the rise. Lakes Entertainment owns the Rocky Gap casino through a subsidiary. Improvements to the facility continue as well. According to a Lakes spokesman, construction of the event center at Rocky Gap is on track and its expected to open that space during the fourth quarter of this year. The event center is expected to accommodate large groups for conferences. The large crowds that have been flocking to the casino, has led to one problem- a lack of adequate parking space.
