As the result of a vote last week by the Maryland Board of Public Works, the Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort in Flintstone is about to trade from taxpaters' hands into those of a new casino. The Board approved the sale to Evitts Resort LLC on Wednesday clearing the way for the $54.6 million sale. Evitts will add 850 machine slots to a parlor next to the existing resort. Although the numbers of the existing three casinos in Maryland have fallen short of the projections- a spokesman from Evitts tells WCBC News that he is optimistic about the Allegany County gaming venture…
