Travel through Mt Savage just became much easier with the re-opening of the bridge on Route 36. The bridge replacement was a Maryland State Highway Administration project that began in 2019. The Route 36 bridge was the second replaced in the Mt Savage community in the past two years along with the Cobblestone Road bridge
