On August 16, 2014 a Cumberland man was arrested for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace after officers responded to the same Pennsylvania Avenue residence two times within a two hour time span. Officers received the same type of noise complaint involving Paul Douglas Hatfield, 55, of Cumberland both times. As a result, Hatfield was placed under arrest and transported to Cumberland Police Headquarters where he was charged with the following:
Disorderly Conduct – 1 Count
Disturbing the Peace – 1 Count
Hatfield was processed and transported to District Court for a bond hearing. Hatfield was subsequently released on his personal recognizance.
On August 16, 2014 a Cumberland man was arrested for disorderly conduct related charges after interfering with an officer during a traffic stop on Williams Street. Officers arrested Matthew Christos Loiacono, 27, of Cumberland after Loiacono was allegedly causing a disturbance and interfering with the officer’s DUI investigation which did not involve Loiacono. Loiacono was asked to leave the area by officers and he refused to do so. As a result, Loiacono was arrested and transported to Cumberland Police Headquarters where he was charged with the following:
Failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer – 1 count.
Loiacono was processed and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
