School Board Will Need To Make Decision On Cox’s Future

A little more than three weeks remain before the Allegany County Board of Education and Superintendent David Cox need to make a decision on his future- and if he has made a decision,  Cox isn’t tipping his hand. Cox, who was hired in 2009, will see his contract expire in June. Per state law, both sides must give notification of their plans. There are already two board members on record as calling for a change at the top. WCBC News asked Cox if he has made a decision at this point, but all he would offer is that it’s an issue he plans to discuss with the board in the near future…
