Allegany County Public Schools bus #72, en route from Mt. Savage School, was involved in an accident on Rt. 35 just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday,. The bus was preparing to stop and was rear-ended by a passenger vehicle. Three students aboard the bus were transported to Western Maryland Health System for non-life threatening injuries as a precaution. Plans were made to transport the remaining student passengers to their appropriate drop-offs.
