School Bus Crash

On 11.12.2014 at approximately 16:02 hours deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to Klondike Road, just off of Upper George’s Creek Road, in Frostburg for a reported crash involving a school bus. There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Deputies arrived on scene and based upon investigation learned that a 1988 Mercedes car being driven by 26 year old Christopher Adcock of Mt. Savage crossed the center dividing line on Klondike Road and into the path of a 2005 School Bus being driven by 66 year old Anna Preston of Frostburg. The vehicles collided head on and suffered serious damage.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Both drivers were transported to WMRMC for non-life threatening injuries.

Adcock was charged with failing to drive right of center and for not wearing a seat belt.

Officials from the Allegany County Board of Education Transportation Department were on scene.

Shaft and Midland Fire Departments as well as Frostburg and Mt. Savage Ambulances responded to the scene.
