It has been brought to the attention of the school system that there has been a suspicious individual near several school properties handing out flyers to students encouraging them to visit and follow various social media sites. Parents and students should be aware that these flyers and subsequent information included on them have not been approved for solicitation by ACPS. Please monitor any information that comes home with students to ensure it is something that has been approved by ACPS per its policy on distribution of information. Anything that is not affiliated with ACPS but that has been approved for distribution to students will have the following disclaimer on it: "These materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Board of Education of Allegany County, the Superintendent, or this school."
