The lower LaVale area is currently experiencing a power outage that has affected both Cash Valley and Parkside Elementary Schools. Potomac Edison has been contacted, and ACPS maintenance department personnel are en route to those schools to assist with needs. At this time there is no estimate as to when power will be restored. Students will continue with a normal schedule, and updates will be forthcoming as more information is gathered from the power company.
