April 28th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

A second Maryland prison inmate died Monday night of COVID-19. WBAL reports that like the first victim,  the inmate was a man in his 60s at Jessup Correctional Institution. State corrections officials said he had a number of underlying medical conditions and had been hospitalized since April 13. In a statement, the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services extended their "deepest sympathy to the loved ones of the deceased."

Citing federal privacy laws, the department could not identify the man who died.

So they identified a sick person with Corona and specifically identified the prison where it occurred. They did not identify the individual because privacy laws apply to the individual.

Do you see how privacy law is accurately interpreted ken?
