Both of Maryland’s U.S. Senators- Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen- believe the testimony of fired FBI Director James Comey was damning of President Donald Trump- and things may get worse today when Attorney General Jeff Sessions testifies to the Senate Intelligence committee in open session. Sessions is expected to face sharp questioning from his former Senate colleagues about his role in the investigation into contacts between Trump campaign associates and Russia during the 2016 election. Cardin says he thinks talk of impeachment is premature- and that the most important focus should continue to be on the role Russia played in last year’s election…
