541 AM EST Sun Mar 3 2019 ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 2 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...4 to 7 inches of snow expected. * WHERE...Portions of western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. * WHEN...From 10 AM today until 2 AM EST Monday. Snow will overspread the area between 9 AM and 11 AM this morning. Snow will be heaviest between 2 PM and 7 PM this afternoon and evening, with snowfall rates around one inch per hour expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult due to snow covered and slippery roads. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
