With reports surfacing in recent months regarding a number of companies and individuals looking to become part of a possible medical marijuana business in Allegany County and Cumberland- County Commissioner Jake Shade cautions that it is very early in the process. There have been several news reports in the past two months of interest in both growing and selling medical marijuana at various locations in the area. Shade is emphasizing that local government will have little if any say in the matter, and that there are only a total of 15 licenses being made available statewide…
