Allegany County Commissioner-elect Jake Shade tells WCBC News that while there remains the possibility for the potential for conflict of interest issues as a result- he has the backing of his fellow commissioners in his plan to serve as Delegate Jason Buckel’s legislative aide in Annapolis. A letter to Shade from the county ethics commission noted that conflicts of interests could be a sticking point- but even with that concern, the commission indicated that he is not prohibited in serving in both positions concurrently. Shade said he has discussed the situation with commissioners Bill Valentine and Creade Brodie Jr.:
