On Wednesday, March 13 the Allegany County Sheriff's Office will be collecting unwanted prescription medication at the LaVale Volunteer Fire Department Station I, located at 421 National Highway in lower LaVale (BESIDE FRATELLI"S RESTAURANT). Deputies will be on site at the Fire Hall from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Anyone with unwanted prescription medication who is unable to drop off may contact the Sheriff's Office at 301-777-1586 extension 520 to schedule a pickup on that date.
