Shot fired during road rage incident near Messick Road

  On Monday,  around 9:30 PM, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack responded to the area of Rt. 51 at Messick Road in reference to a possible road rage incident.   It was reported that shots were fired at a vehicle traveling Northbound on Rt. 51.  Investigation revealed a newer model light blue / gray Chrysler 300 displaying unknown temporary registration (paper tag) left the scene prior to Troopers arrival.  An unknown suspect in the Chrysler 300 fired two shots striking the victims vehicle during the incident. There were no injuries reported during the incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack at 301-729-2101.
