Snow Storm Shuts Down Power Locally

An early snow left thousands of Potomac Edison customers in the Tri-State area without power through much of the weekend. Snow began falling Friday night and left several inches in Cumberland.  As of Monday morning just a few hundred local customers remained without power, but still no firm time frame as to when those homes would be restored. Potomac Edison spokesman Todd Meyers said restoration of power is expected to take the most time in Washington County, adding that it could take until Wednesday to restore power to some customers in Western Maryland…
