The Allegany County Sheriff's Office stopped 782 vehicles during a sobriety checkpoint late Friday on U.S. Route 220 in Cresaptown. No driving under the influence arrests were made but deputies said several motorists were cited for other traffic offenses. The checkpoint ran until about 2 a.m. Saturday.
