The Cumberland Comes Alive concert series kicks off with Bands on the Bricks this Friday evening, June 2. Local band Solid Gold takes the First Peoples Stage at Historic City Center located at the corner of Liberty & Baltimore Streets at 6:30 pm. The performance is free of charge, but seating is limited, so don’t forget your folding lawn chair.
Solid Gold is a Cumberland based oldies band that plays hits from the 1950s and 1960s.
Cumberland Comes Alive is Western Maryland’s premier outdoor concert series. It is presented by Burgmeiers Hauling Inc. and is produced by the City of Cumberland’s Downtown Development Commission.
Bands on the Bricks concerts take place in the heart of Cumberland on the bricks of the Historic City Center from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Friday beginning June 2 and ending Aug. 25 (except June 9 –at Canal Place).
