A Garrett County woman won the Miss Maryland contest Saturday night in Hagerstown. Twenty year old Joanna Guy of Swanton will compete in the Miss America contest in Las Vegas. She is a 2009 graduate of Southern High School. Miss Cumberland, Christina Denny, was second runner up.
