The Allegany County Commissioners, board of education, local law enforcement and Delegate Kevin Kelly will take part in a special meeting Monday morning focusing on the future of school security in the county. It was during a presentation of the school board’s proposed budget for Fy 2014 two weeks ago when Board Member Mike Llewellyn voiced concern that no new money had been set aside for upgrading security. Following that discussion Allegany County Commissioner Mike McKay organized the meeting for the purpose of having all of the involved parties on the same page when it comes to plans for security in the schools.
