On Saturday, November 29th, 2014, A Cumberland City Police officer on patrol, stopped a black Toyota bearing Maryland registration for speeding 16 mph over the limit on Industrial Boulevard. The officer contacted the driver, who was identified as Joseph Patrick Natale of Cumberland. A check through the Department of Motor Vehicles showed that Natale’s Maryland driver’s license was suspended. Natale was issued a citation for exceeding the maximum posted speed limit and one for driving on a suspended Maryland driver’s license. He was released after at the scene pending trial with the District Court of Allegany County.
