Stalemate Continues at Potomac Farms

No official word from the company, but rumors persist that Potomac Farms is considering closing it’s Cumberland plant and moving all production to Johnstown. Local Potomac Farms Dairy workers went on strike back in September a few months after rejecting the business' offer that would cut their pension and pay. Since then, according to Larry Wolfe, President of the worker's union, Teamsters Local 453, they haven't heard a word. Repeated efforts by WCBC News to contact management have been unsuccessful. One union member told WCBC News that the striking working were well aware of the risks they were taking when the strike vote was taken….
