State Board seeking input in next State Superintendent

February 11th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Maryland State Board of Education (State Board) has scheduled several regional forums to gather public input regarding the next State Superintendent.

Working with search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), the forums scheduled by the State Board of Education will be used to help identify the characteristics necessary to help lead the State’s education system. The forums will be facilitated by a member of HYA and are planned for locations throughout the State.

Public input will also be solicited through an online survey. Information about access to the survey will be provided on the Maryland State Department of Education website once available.

Locally sessions are scheduled for Wednesday February 19th at Allegany High School at 3:30 and 7PM

More wasted money all they do is give it to one of their college buddies and all this money is down the drain.
