Maryland officials are asking residents to report any damage that they experienced from Hurricane Sandy. The state is currently appealing a denial of individual assistance by the federal government, with local, state, and federal damage assessment teams reporting damage. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved federal funding for the state, local governments and certain nonprofits as part of a disaster declaration.
