As a result of the steady snow fall, slick road conditions have been created leading to a number of accidents in the area. A two vehicle collision reported at 1:30 on MD 35; a single vehicle accident reported at 1:45 westbound I-68, east of Vale Summit Road. One lane closed to traffic; and at 2:15 on I-68 east, west of Mountain Road a single vehicle crash reported. No word yet on any injuries.
On 03/18/2013 as of 1330 Hrs., The Snow Emergency Plan is in effect for Allegany County.
