Firefighters from Mineral and Allegany Counites responded to Heiskell Boulevard in Carpendale Saturday evening.
The call came in as a camper fire, and later reportedly spread to a home in the area. Quickly, heavy smoke was seen coming from the roof and rear of the home.
The occupants were able to escape prior to the arrival of emergency crews, and firemen were on the scene until around 9:00 PM.
