May 20th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

A task force set up to study whether school in Maryland should start after Labor Day has completed its work on the issue, and the report says that the Free State could reap a 70 million dollar windfall if the school calendar would be amended.

Delegate Myers said the bill will be put in for consideration in January, and he believes it has a chance since election year politics will not be an issue.
