On Friday, August 4, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Shanna Roy.  The warrant was issued as a result of Roy failing to appear for her court case at the Circuit Court of Allegany County.  Roy was placed under arrest and served.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner where she posted a $100 bond.

On Friday, August 4, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Mary Yoder.  The summons was issued as a result of an incident that occurred last month.  On July 28, 2017 at approximately 3:30 PM, officers were dispatched to a Maryland Avenue business for a shoplifting complaint.  The staff reported that the suspect stole a package of tweezers from the store. The suspect had already left the area.  The investigating officer reviewed the surveillance video and was able to identify the suspect as Mary Yoder.  Charges were filed against Yoder at the District Court of Allegany County.  Yoder was served with the summons and released pending trial.
