A shooting in Burlington, Wv Early Monday morning leaves two dead. Donald L. Rutter was pronounced dead at the scene at a home at 74 Maple Hollow Lane. Destiny C. Foster was found with gunshot wounds and transported Potomac Valley Hospital before being flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown where she later died.
The shooting was reported around 3 AM Monday morning by Foster when she called the Hampshire County 911 Center.
Authorities were able to recover six spent shotgun shells in a bedroom of the residence located off Beaver Run Road.
An arrest warrant has been obtained and a suspect is currently being sought.
