Suspect In Attempted Murder Case Arrested In Cumberland

On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, warrant officers with the Baltimore City Police responded to Cumberland after receiving information that a suspect wanted for attempted murder in Baltimore may have fled to Cumberland to avoid apprehension.

 

            Members of the C3I Warrant/Fugitive Unit were able to obtain several addresses of known acquaintances where the suspect might be located. With the assistance of the Cumberland Police, the Baltimore PD warrant officers and C3I Warrant/Fugitive Investigators checked these addresses. They learned that the suspect had fled one of the addresses after learning that law enforcement was searching for him.

 

            Investigators learned where the suspect had fled to and responded to that location. The suspect was taken into custody at that time.

 

            The suspect was identified as 23 year old Dontray White of Baltimore. After his arrest, White was transported back to Baltimore pending his initial court appearance.
