A couple of new laws requested by Allegany County Sheriff Craig Robertson last year to the legislative delegation have been proving effective since they went into effect this year. The sheriff, updating the Allegany County Commissioners and Delegation on the progress said that a bill designed to curb the sale and use of synthetic drugs and bath salts has led to a decline in the number of cases being reported in area hospitals. Any additional bills that may further eradicate the problem, Robertson says would be greatly appreciated…
