Tammy Fraley Approved As President Of Board Of Education

January 15th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

As was the case last year- the Allegany County Board of Education began its first public meeting of the 2020 with a split 3-2 vote as the board approved Tammy Fraley as president, replacing Robert Farrell.  It was the first action item on the agenda Tuesday, with member Deb Frank nominating Fraley. Any hopes of a unified front disappeared seconds later as vice president David Bohn nominated member Ed Root as president. That effort failed as Root seconded and voted for Fraley…

Fraley, Root and Frank voted for Fraley to be president. Farrell and Bohn voted against the move. Fraley then nominated Frank as vice-president, which received a unanimous vote. The action represents a reversal of sorts from much of last year when Fraley and Frank often found themselves on the losing end of split votes as the then majority Farrell, Bohn and Wayne Foote often voted in unison. Foote was removed from the board in October for misconduct and replaced with Root via a gubernatorial appointment.

Isn’t it long past the time when all of this should have ended?
With the same names, faces, and personalities in place it should come as expected behavior no matter how positions and titles have been stirred around.
As election time rolls around voters would do well to remember every name listed above and remove each and every one by voting for any one else. No matter who they might be it’s time to try something else.
Remember the new spirit of cooperation? Hopefully voters will be cooperating and getting new Board members.

Well its obvious that Root is joining the other two clowns, Fraley being the biggest clown of all. Fraley, Frank and Root need to go in November!

Sometimes the root of all problems is right there staring you in the face!

With a little support from the voters of Allegany County we can replace the whole bunch in one sweep and bring in some local talent and save the taxpayers (That’s Us!) a lot of money that we could use for the children’s benefit and not waste it on looking nationally for others people’s problems to join our
