Tax Incentives To Cyber Security/Bio Tech Companies Offered

Two bills passed during the Maryland General Assembly session which ended last month that offer tax incentives for qualified cyber security and biotechnology companies willing to locate in low-income areas, including Allegany and Garrett counties. Delegate Jason Buckel, who sponsored the bills, said the goal is let potential businesses know that they can get a higher return on their investment in areas such as Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore more so than any other part of the state…
