Taylor Responds to Davis’ Accusations on WCBC

March 22nd, 2019 by WCBC Radio

During Tuesday’s public meeting of the Cumberland Mayor and City Council , Dr. Jeffrey Davis of Garrett County accused Ed Taylor and the Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization of being racist, with a reputation of disseminating revisionist history and displaying the Confederate Flag. On WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show”- Taylor responded to the accusations. Davis, who has been in the news off and on since 2004 when he began an effort to have a monument of the Ten Commandments removed from the courthouse lawn on Washington Street, has been a frequent critic of Taylor’s group. Taylor said that Davis is nothing more than a mouth piece for a small, radical liberal constituency in the area-  and that the monuments and flags displayed by the cemetery group are not racist in anyway…
