On Saturday, March 28, 2015, at approximately 1:45 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Park Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. This closure is needed so the accident reconstructionist, from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, can complete the investigation into the March 20, 2015 accident which resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
Park Street and all access streets will be closed to prevent any motorist from traveling through the area while the deputy and officers from the Cumberland Police Department complete the investigation.
The following streets will be affected during this time: Cecelia Street at Maryland Avenue, Williams Street at Maryland Avenue, Park Street at Williams along with a right turn only when exiting the plaza at Williams Street, Baltimore Street at Park and Altamont Terrace at Baltimore Street.
